Limelight XE Alarms Tab
The Limelight XE Console's Alarms Tab is an extremely powerful feature of the console that allows you to view and manage all alarms, alarm notifications, and their correlating procedures.
You may filter the alarm list using the “Alarm View” dropdown to the right of the alarms list.
The alarms list will default to the “All Alarms” view. Or you may choose to filter them by the following:
- Suppressed
- Pending and working alarms
- Pending, working, and resolved alarms.
- Resolved
- Shelved
Additionally, the alarms list breaks down the details of each alarm by the following:
- Alarm Priority
- Date and Time Stamp
- Status
- Location
- Message
- Owner
Once an alarm is selected from the list, additional details such as associated objects, features, procedures, and tasks can be viewed in the “Alarm Source Details” and “Procedure” Windows. Any associated log entries will also be populated in the log entries window below the alarms list.
Suppressing an alarm:
- Designed to increase security and reduce alarm fatigue, an alarm can be suppressed.
- In order to suppress an alarm the operator/admin will be prompted to enter the reason for the suppression and authentication (if required) will be required before the suppression is completed.
