Limelight XE Mapping / Tracking Tab
The Mapping / Tracking Tab is primarily the operator's main view into managing and tracking various physical objects, waypoints, markers and other geolocation related data. Limelight XE maintains a database of every object ever observed or recorded and also has the ability to link to other databases with geolocation data. All of that can be made visible via layers in this view.
The main mapping / tracking tab has five (5) sub-tabs. They are as follows:
- Map - This contains the main map view, map layer controls, object filtering controls, as well as presets and tool bars to control the view, add or delete objects and more.
- Mapping Analytics - When selecting this tab, the console will automatically inventory every object, marker or waypoint along with their current status and display it. Sometimes the map view is highly cluttered with objects, so by using this view an operator can quickly inventory objects or find a specific object.
- Fleet Management - This sub-tab provides the operator with an overview of their current fleet of objects (vehicles, persons, etc.).
- Object Search and Maintenance - This sub-tab provides a simple means for finding any object in the database and performing maintenance such as adding the object to the fleet.
- History - This sub-tab is only shown when a single object is selected. It shows the available history / path an object has taken. This is configurable via the Components tab on how deep the history is kept limited only by the available storage.
Below is an example of the map tab view with the Tactical Overview preset loaded (you can find the presets via VIEW -> OPTIONS -> MAP SETTINGS dialog)
