Limelight XE Procedures Tab

Procedures are used to instruct an operator on what to do and in what order during an alarm.  They are also used to perform system roles such as running scripts or sending emails based on schedules that can control any aspect of the Limelight XE infrastructure.

The procedures tab in the Limelight XE console allows you to create, edit, and test alarm procedures.

In the left-most pane, you will see a list of current procedures.

By highlighting a procedure you can:

  • View and edit the details of the procedure via the "Procedure Editor" Tab.
    • View and edit the procedures items, and tasks.
  • View and edit the details of the procedure's triggers via the "Trigger Editor"

At the bottom left corner of the console, you will see a Procedure Add (+) and Procedure Delete (-) buttons. This is how you will create and permanently delete procedures on your list.

In order to quickly test these procedures before they are finalized, you may highlight a procedure and click the "Test" button to the right of the Procedure Delete (-) button.
